Superscore does not collect anything about you. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking. Your practice history lives on your own device and is not sent anywhere.
When you answer questions, Superscore records what you got right, what you got wrong, which rung of each skill you are on, and your streak. All of it is written to your own browser's local storage by the app itself.
That information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data erases it permanently — there is no copy on a server to restore from, which is the trade-off for not collecting it in the first place.
The one exception is web fonts, which are requested from Google Fonts when the page first loads. That request tells Google your IP address and browser, as any request to any server does. It happens once, it carries nothing about you or your answers, and the app works without it if the request fails.
Full access includes an optional placement step where you can send a photo of a graded test or homework page, or type out what you got wrong, and have it read for the skills costing you points.
This is the one feature that transmits anything. If you use it, the image or text you provide is sent for analysis and the resulting plan is returned to your device. Nothing you send is retained after the analysis is returned, and it is not used to train anything. If you never use the placement, nothing is ever transmitted.
Do not include names, school identifiers or anything else you would not want to send. A photo of a page of questions is all the feature needs.
Purchases made on the web are handled by the payment processor; purchases made inside a future native app would be handled by Apple or Google. We never see or store your card details. Each of those companies has its own privacy policy covering that transaction.
An unlock code is a string that activates full access on your device. It is not linked to your identity and we do not maintain a record of who holds which code.
If you enter an email address on the home page to be told when the native app ships, that address is stored only to send that one message. It is not added to a marketing sequence, not shared and not sold. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete the address at any time by writing to [email protected].
That form is handled by Formspree, which receives the address in order to deliver it to our inbox and which has its own privacy policy.
Superscore is intended for high-school students preparing for the SAT and ACT, and for their parents and tutors. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is in practice nothing held about a user of any age.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through this website, write to [email protected] and it will be deleted.
Laws in several places — including the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA and CPRA in California — give you rights to access, correct, delete and port personal information held about you, and to object to its sale.
We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, port or delete, and nothing has ever been sold. The one exception is an email address you gave us for the launch list; write to [email protected] and it will be removed.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and any change that widens what is collected will be announced in the app before it takes effect rather than after.
